Who is PAC?We are a group of parents just like you. Each of us has a child with special needs in school. As parents of special needs children, we have made a commitment to stay up to date on the latest issues concerning special education and how it will affect our kids. We will not tell you that we are experts on Special Education, however, we are proud to be experts for our own children. We volunteer for PAC because we love our children and have every desire to help keep the lines of communication open between the schools and our homes. As a PAC group we desire to equip parents with available resources and parent support so that they will be well informed. What is PAC?
The PAC stands for Parent Advisory Committee. We are a committee of parents that meet every second Thursday of the month in an effort to stay up to date on educational issues and current events that may affect our Special Education programs in Allegan County. Each member of the PAC has been nominated by their local school districts and therefore, represents their school district at the monthly meetings. PAC MeetingsPAC Meetings are held every second Thursday of the month at the AAESA Administration Building, 310 Thomas St., Allegan, MI 49010
